Wolf Paulus

I am a software engineer, innovator and educator based in Sedona, Arizona.

Changing the world one life at a time, I teach Computer Science at Embry–Riddle Aeronautical University. Occasionally, I speak at software developer conferences on topics ranging from Physical Computing to Emotional Prosody.

Before a long stint with Intuit, working on conversational user interfaces and natural language understanding, at Hewlett-Packard, I was responsible for developing strategies and solutions, to deliver a compelling mobile print experience; and at Motorola, I was a working on their Android platform.

I’ve worked in St. Petersburg, Russia, leading a team of Russian engineers creating smart chatbots, in Frankfurt Germany, leading Deutsche Bank’s development of an electronic banking and security trading application, led software component development contracted from Aten Development in Lyon, France, and worked closely with HP’s mobile development team in Porto Alegre, Brazil.

I received a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of Paderborn Germany, which has one of the highest-ranking computer science programs among universities in Germany, and a Specialized Certificate in Embedded Computer Software from the University of California, San Diego.
