Programming for the young (and young at heart)

Do you want to introduce programming to your kids? Are you a kid who's interested in making games, or learning the fundamental skills necessary for game development? Perhaps you've never taken the plunge yourself because of the walls of text oh so common in "learn to program" books. Never fear, the tools and methods that are targeted towards the young work great for adults too! This session will cover several of the freely available systems (Kodu Game Lab, Scratch, Build Your Own Blocks, and Stencyl) to use when teaching a youngster in your life or to start learning programming yourself.
