Arduino 101
Have you heard of Arduino? It's an open source hardware and software project for a microcontroller board. It's popularity is due to it's simplicity, ease of use, and plethora of options, accessories, and models in the market. It let's nearly anyone start developing electronic projects.
This session will provide some background on Arduino, go over various Arduino boards and shields, then walk through a hands-on programming example. It is aimed at the new or wannabe Arduino user.
NOTE:
If you have an Arduino board you are encouraged to bring it to follow-along and mimic the lesson. You'll need an Arduino (any model), a laptop with Arduino IDE (latest version, 1.0.1) pre-loaded, and some basic electrical components (an LED, a few resistors, and a potentiometer.)
